…well, actually, it’s not that special, haha. It’s a Native American thing (I guess I make a Lakota variation, idk) and is basically just… fried dough (flour, baking powder, salt, milk, a deep fryer, with or without sugar) + wojape for dipping/spreading, which is a berry jam type thing.
I don’t eat it often because it’s kind of unhealthy (it’s technically meant to be fried in fat. My grandmother ONLY fries in in fat…) and when I do, I usually pan fry it. So it’s bastardised fry bread.
I was really craving it today for some reason.
