Old Time Family Baseball: If a No-Hitter Happens on the West Coast And No One Was Awake to See it, Did It Really Ever Happen?

oldtimefamilybaseball:

Jered Weaver just finished throwing a no-hitter against the Twins. Which, despite it being the Twins, is a crazy hard thing to do. Weaver was masterful, giving up one walk, allowing one man to reach base thanks to a passed ball by Chris Iannetta, and finishing with nine strikeouts. Weaver…

Get ready world, because this is what you’re going to see next season. As reported by Tim Brown and confirmed by Buster Olney, Albert Pujols is headed to the Angels to the tune of 10 years and over $250 million dollars with a full no-trade clause.
Perhaps it’s because Pujols wants to go to Disneyland with every chance he gets or maybe he’s just a big Angels in the Outfield fan, but it’s a daring move from Jerry DiPoto in his first year as GM. What this means for a healthy Kendry Morales or Mark Trumbo’s .298 OBP is up for debate, but Pujols immediately makes the Angels a threat in the AL West and should boost ticket sales.
The Angels stand a good chance to suffer six or seven years down the road because of this, but it will all be worth it if they can bring Orange County another title.

Basically, my favorite part of any game is watching a catcher get pissed. Especially a hot catcher.
